1. The Llama Farm Experience - Suitable for all ages and abilities. Meet our llamas, learn about them, take them for a short walk around the farm. You also have the opportunity to become acquainted with our other animals such as our baby donkey, Shetland pony, alpaca, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas! This option lasts approximately 1hr 15 mins. Price - £10 adults £6 children (under 14yrs) Family (2 adults, 3 children) £36.00.
2. On the farm trek - Not suitable for children under 10 yrs. After being introduced to your llama, this short trek goes around the farm boundaries for approx 1. 5 miles. We cross different terrain such as fields, tracks a gentle hill climb up a bridleway and back across the heather ridden tracks. On return your trek is completed by enjoying locally homemade cakes and beverages. This option last approx 2 hrs. £20 pr person, sharing a llama ( Gift vouchers available ) or £30 pr person, llama of your own! (Gift vouchers available)
3. Nidderdale Experience - Not suitable for children under 12yrs An initial talk and some techniques on how to handle your llama when out on the trek. We set off along tracks, bridleways, fields and some quite roads We trek for approx 45 mins then stop to enjoy refreshments. The journey allows you to spot woodland wildlife and beautiful scenery whilst in the good company of your llama. On returning to the farm, you can re-fresh and enjoy some local homemade lunch or tea, including cakes. This option lasts approx 3.5 hrs £40 pr person, sharing a llama (Gift Vouchers available) or £55 pr person, llama of your own! (Gift vouchers avaiblable
4. New!!! - Day Trek to Brimham Rocks - A National Trust Beauty Spot. Not suitable for under 14yrs and you must be able to walk upto 8 miles. This is real trekking!! After meeting up at the farm and an initial talk on the day and handling the llamas, we set off for this fantastic natural site where you can see unusal rock formations dating back over 300 million years! The gentle trek takes us up to a height of nearly 300m, to some unmissable views over 40 miles. On reaching the rocks, we picnic for lunch and you have the opportunity to explore the rocks, visit the shop and visitor centre whilst your llama has a well deserved rest! After lunch, we wind our way around Brimham and then start to decend back down the valley. The route then takes us up a pretty bridleway & across heather ridden tracks, before finally reaching the farm where you can re-fresh and enjoy a nice cup of tea! All refreshements and quality picnic are included in this trek. You may want to bring spending money for the shop and visitor centre, where you can purchase keepsakes / snacks etc We can only run this trek with a minumum of 4 people therefore dates are subject to demand. £140 pr couple, sharing a llama (gift vouchers available) £180 pr couple, llama of each! (gift vouchers available) Groups Bookings of over six people are subject to a discount. All options, must be pre-booked, we are not an 'open' farm. We require a deposit to secure your place upon booking. Please note that children under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult on all the above options. Should the adult not wish to trek with a llama but accomapany the trek, we charge a 'spectator' fee of £15 pr person as you are still engaging with the experience and you will be included in the refreshments. |
