Why not engage in learning about something really different and also experience it at close quarters! Nidderdale Llamas offers a really unique experience where learning and fun are combined into one!

Llamas are very versatile creatures, they offer fun and friendliness plus they are very relaxing and therapeutic to be around.

We offer educational packages, which cover a wide range of subjects linked to South America and the Camelid Family. History, Science, Geography and Psychical education, all combined in one visit or we can come to you!

Children can learn and have fun at the same time, walking with the llamas on the farm and admiring their uniqueness. We can provide visual presentations on camelid history, camelid uses in South America and also uses today in the UK.

Visits to the farm can also include learning about and handling our other animals, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and ponies.

We can be very flexible in terms of our packages and aim to fit in to what you feel would be beneficial. We can also travel to you should you prefer, (with or without a llama)!
