Charlie joined our herd in February 2019. Charlie is a bit of a misfit, he is not quite llama and not quite alpaca! Charlie is one of the smallest llamas we have. We think he may have some alpaca in his blood line as he is so small, his fleece is thick like alpaca style and he has small ears, but he doesn’t have the funky top knot hair do that the alpacas do! Charlie is a grumpy pants though, he thinks he is in charge of the boys, and always pulls faces at the others! When rounding the herd in, Charlie is always at the back of the herd and likes to make sure we have everyone! He’s a real cutie, and loves to meet new people!
Charlie’s ideal trekking companion is someone who is gentle and enjoys a slower calm pace!
Nidderdale Llamas is a family run trekking centre in the heart of Nidderdale. The farm is idyllically positioned and enjoys some fantastic views. Everyone who visits Kiln Farm always comments on its amazing location.
